I see a lot of people saying NWA or Run DMC Three 6 Mafia, they definitely deserve mentions but what about the originators Sugar Hill Gang or African Bambata?

I think you know the answer already. If you dont, you should! J.k. N.W.A. of course. If it wasnt for them ( Ice Cube, Eazy E, Mc Wren, Dr. Dre, and Yella Boy) doing their thing in the late 80's- early 90's, rap music of today wouldnt be anything like it is now. They paved the way for rappers to say what they like and express honestly how they feel (without censorship).

the commission with biggie smalls and jay z. they are two of the best rappers in the game but nobody really heard of the group because of biggie's death.
