In my opinion, they either a) have no life of their own and need to keep track of someone elses b) like the celebrities and want to know how they live their lives so they can try to live their lives like them or c) they have nothing better to do. In our socity, celebrities have been put at the top of the social pyrimad, and some people practically worship them. But why? Because an illusion is given that they are perfect, with the perfect body, clothes, house, and life. So when something happens to them, people want to know all about it. That's just my opinion.

Peoppe that either have no life or have a bad life must feel the need to be extemely nosey. That's why People magazine is still around. People like that are insecure with an aspect of their lives and are only comforted by the fact that some celebrities are alcoholics or druggies or VERY SEXUALLY ACTIVE WITH MANY PARTNERS. Its their only rise in life to see that others have it bad also. In short, they need to feel better about themselves.

view it this way....if u have a girlfriend, aint u always curious to know her whereabouts...her likings...her hobbies...her favourite presents,accessories,songs..the list is endless...still u manage to reach to her every need..or like.....u become crazy for her presence..u want to enjoy every moment with her and spend every evening thoroughly no matter had it been a totally hectic day....similarly,when people see someone of good character, charming personality...they want to know wat things constitute to make him a celebrity....pleasure that one gets in both cases is u become happy when u see others happy.

yeah, thats a great thing to wonder. maybe they aren't satisfied with theirs and decide other peoples lives are more intresting than thiers. i think its totally overrated, like the whole celebrity thing. its just like whatever, you know. i guess its intresting to see them and stuff but not dig into every DETAIL.
