Come on, all of his movies outside of Punch Drunk Love absolutely suck. How did this guy become popular?

I can't believe so many people are defending this guy. He himself would probably admit that he isn't funny. Watching an adult pretend to be a 3rd grader is not good humor.

Yes, on Saturday Night Live...Ever see the skit with Alec Baldwin when they were Boy Scouts? Hysterical...IMO, he went downhill after that...

Um he is still funny, Punch Drunk Love was not a good movie of his. He's one of the greats just like Chris Farley

I thought Punch Drunk Love was absolutely the dumbest movie I have EVER seen..and I would rather not EVER have to see it again..it was a waste of my time and money!

Because not everyone shares your opinion. I think Sandler is hilarious - juvenile, childish, silly, but personifies the esssence of immature maleness that is in every man alive. He makes me laugh!

Have you seen The WaterBoy?? C'mon - I was laughing the whole movie. True, he has a lot of CRAP out there, but The Wedding Singer was PRICELESS!!

i never enjoyed any of his films until i saw 50 first dates. then spanglish. he has turned his career around finally, i think.
