Yes. I smashed a cockroach in my house three or four years ago. It was on purpose. I shouldn't have done it. It would have been more morally correct to capture it and throw it outside.

When I was a young kid - I killed a squirrel with a BB gun. After watching it suffer and flail for a bit - I took another shot to kill it. Since then, I have never even hit an animal, no less kill it. I have good friends who are hunters, but see absolutely no reason to kill an animal - even if threatened by one. I dont judge hunters, etc - but after seeing the look in that squirrels eyes - I could never harm one again.

And this is from a 6'4" 210 rugby player...

I didn't mean to but I killed a bobcat once. It jumped into the side of my van. I also killed an opossum, and my daughter's pet dog. It was chasing my car and it ran under my tire. Not the opossum, but the dog. The opossum just ran out in front of me. I have also accidentally hit a couple of squirrels and a few bird, all with my vehicle. I have killed a few copperhead snakes on purpose, I have kids who play out side, and I don't want them to get bit.

Well, I fished back when I was about 12...I would never kill anything on purpose, unless I was starving maybe and even then it might be berries and grass for me, lol. I'm not a vegetarian or anything, but I don't think I have a killer bone in my body. Heck I feel guilty killing spiders (though I still do it gladly cause they give me the willies).

Yes... I have killed a chicken before. It was on a farm. In order to prevent the spread of the disease, I had to. I wasn't happy about it but there would have been 50 other ones vulnerable to the same fate if i didn't do anything.

Yes I have. I shot a dog, very on purpose. We have two female dogs that came in heat, and i didn't want them to get pregnant so I kept them tied up. Then this big black beast of a dog started jumping into our FENCED IN yard. I went to the owners who have a fence and asked them to keep him home(all they'd have to do was close their gate), telling them about my dogs. They were not cooperative. I think they just didn't care about any of their dogs, because they had quite a few. Several more times he jumped in and i kept trying to scare him off and i went back to the owner and warned them i wouldn't stand for it. Again they did nothing. So when he jumped in this time, my mom was going to catch him and we were taking him to the pound, but when the time came, he tried to bite her. So i went inside and grabbed my gun and killed him then and there. I don't regret it. I'll protect my family before i let myself feel bad for a dog.

I am sure I did when I was younger (bugs). But, I have a sincere problem with those who hurt things that are smaller and weaker than them on purpose.

Yes, several snakes. Cottonmouths are poisonous, and there were a bunch of kids that played in the area.

Not on purpose! I overdosed some chickens with a vitamin solution and they died a horrible death. I felt so bad!

no! That's terrible, and killing animals purposely is a sign of mental illness especially if you enjoy doing it.

Insects don't count.
