Cedric Benson is not high on my list .. especially after the contract fiasco he pulled during training camp.
At the #4 pick, if the Bears really wanted a RB, they should have grabbed Carnell Williams instead. Personally, they should have drafted a WR instead. However, the Bears have been prone to mess up draft classes.
Cedric Benson may provide the bears with a good running game, but Thomas Jones already does that (or were his 1300+ rushing yards not enough?). Jones has continued to improve his games with each season, culminating in his first 1000+ yard rushing season last year. Also, Adrian Peterson provides the change of pace running style that the Bears can employ without much worry.
OTA sessions are one thing ... training camps set for the end of July are another ... and the NFL season is a whole different beast altogether.

He's a potential starter on any team, and I think he will be a starter in Chicago by the middle of the season. They want to trade Thomas Jones anyway, they know where the future is. If you can pick him up, I would get him between round 7-9 and hold him all year.

Too early to grade him yet...He did decent when he got the opportunity to play last year. But I think it will take another year or two to really be able to answer.

He has been showing great results in training camp, so they might put him in more than last year.
