All three are great coaches and have proven that, but as a player I would pick Riles. I think that he keeps things loose and fun.
As an owner I would pick Phil if I already had a team and didn't have to build one. No one is better at managing stars in spite of the blow up in LA with Shaq and the little arrogant twit Kobe, Phil held it together for three years and I doubt any one else could have. If I had a team that I want to rebuild fast and then get a new coach I pick Brown, but if I wanted to keep the coach I take Riles.

Pat Riley for sure that man has so much experience and so much heart he knows what to say and when to say people are always saying that he has the best coaching strategies and i think its true. He ismore then just a coach he has that way of motivitating the whole team . like now in the finals when he came up with 15 strong that was the best motto i have ever heard of and the way that he got the team to come together was the best. He made all those cards for the finals and i think that the motivation they brought together really made the finals a good game.

All the coaches have their philosophy on team unity but Phil Jackson would be the coach I would play for because if he can control 3 super ego like Pippen, MJ, and Rodman and win 3 championship and NBA record 72 wins. He is doing something right. But I just choose one of the choices. My first choice is Popavich for the Spurs.

although phil jackson has all those rings, pat riley still has his fair share of championships himself, and he's also a better motivator..........i'd rather play for him, larry brown isn't much of a players coach, i dont think i'd play for a coach i can't relate to

Phil Jackson, because he knows how to get maximum performance from everyone on the team. He sets up his stars and defines the role players in his lineup.
