What do I have to do to receive the picture from a webcam?

I was chatting with a person on line and they had a webcam. While I don't have one I would like to get the picture on my computer from another person. What do I need as far as software or whatever?

For Yahoo Messenger, just click on the link beside the person you want to view (usually says "View my webcam") This sends a request to the person and he/she has the option to allow or deny you to view him/her.

Try Microsoft WebMeeting - I dont think you need a camera to see the other person's picture.
