We all know most Americans are not into football (or what they call soccer) and one reason I've heard is that scoring in football is low.So I was thinking of some of the changes the Americans would make to scoring in football and I came up with a couple of ideas.
1.Goals scored from outside the penalty box = 3
2.Goal scored inside the penalty box =2
3.A goal scored from a penalty kick = 1
4.Four consecutive corner kicks = 1
What else do u think they would have changed?

5. Everytime an American says something stupid = - 1 point... meaning they will be - 782 by half time, and that's just from their coach saying one sentence.

The way a game is scored has little to do with the popularity of the game. The reason that soccer if so far down on the sport list in America is because of the popularity of American baseball and American type of football.
You can have just so many top sports. Soccer, football, and baseball would have to compete with each other, splitting the attendance.
Soccer is here for those who care to play it, or watch it, but there are very few takers.

Just as they did with the National Hockey Leauge in the 70's. Try to transform it from a game of skill and agility to a game of brute force. Minimum requirements for draft, 250lbs plus and 6"-4" tall.

World knows that US do not want to play futbol because is hard work to achieve the goal even if is hard to get or easy and is build up. They would first dominated to play it and and have to be US
orgin so they would use hands in it too. I played similar game like this made in US in PE class ball is volleyball and you can use your hands or feet.Goal by feet 2 points with hand 1 point and is played inside in the smaller space continuasly and you can't run on goalies space.

i refuse to call it soccer to be honest. football is played by practically every country in the world. it is the biggest sport on the planet, most watched ,etc. everyone calls it football, only usa call it soccer, so i cant stand it when other people use the name. p.s if that is the ghana flag, well done. they reppin it for the africans.

I think that the field is too large. A whole lot of running for not many goals.
