You don't need one! I use to have one & the cell phone company kept raising rates & charging me for things I never wanted & kept changing my service without me knowing! I have been cell phone free for about 5 years now & I'm glad!

Since there are so many reasons I shall go one by one.
1. You can use it to get help in an emergency
2. use it to receive and make calls.
3. use it to send and receive short text messages.
4. use it to surf the web
5. listen to FM radio on it
6. take pictures with it.
9. use it to record conversation with people.
10. use it to check/ reply e-mails
11. store your favorite music on it
12. listen to your favorite music on it
13. store pics of your loved ones.
14. communicate with people using hi fi technology eg IR, blue tooth and GPRS etc.
15. show off your wallet size
I think these are good enough reasons why you should own a cell phone by now !!! take care ... hope it helps !

For the simple reason with all with wrong with the world if you got stuck some where you can call someone. Because sadly people aren't as giving or trusting as they were yesteryear.

Don't bother. I have one and the monthly expense isn't worth it. When the contract is done, the phone is going in the trash.

if you belong to stone age then it is useless to you. if you are not friendly type then it is useless to you, if you donot understand value of time then it is useless to you, and if you are a person who thiks that NO EMERGENCY can ever come in your way then a cell is useless for you. my advise, do not bother to spend your precious money on it.

Don't bother. If you don't have one yet, you probably don't need one. If you don't need one, then you'll just be another idiot on the road yammering to Aunt Edith about Sunday dinner and causing accidents.

it will improve your life. communicate with anyone anytime you want and anywhere you are.
for example if you have to meet someone and they can't make it wouldn't it be better if they could call you and tell you that than waiting and waiting for them to show up?
