Duh!
If that was the case, you would not have generations going to schools like Eton and Harrow! I use them as an example because they are the most famous single-sex schools that I know.
If going to a single-sex school makes you gay, how come not everyone who comes from a mixed school is heterosexual?
You might as well say that university turns people gay because that is where a large majority of people seem to come out!

NO thats biology...
But its quite likly they may have serious problems forming relationships with get exponentially worse when they can't compete on a level playing field...
Ie becasue of school can't pull competatively at 15... parent happy...
But then at 16 can't do it as did not do so at 215, so did not develop the chat up skills so therefore someone else wins the competition for the person they like as had more practice.
this then gets far worse as at different age ranges there are different forms of relationship and as you gert older those forms of realtionships are not simply available...
Like no rookie apprenticships after age 24 so no development...
Result is kid is very immature for age and can't do anything about it as no longer in an environment surrounded by those their own age...
This lack of social skills means they can't handle more advanced office relationships and office politics, are vunerable to exploitation and abuse and has to sit there and take it as has not social poer. Nobody goes for rookies much like the no job no experience, no experience no job vicious circle...
Which gets worse and worse as then they are immature, get fired... Can't see let alone manage others as trapped with the mind of a 15/16 year old...
And even if they do get anywhere the realtionship won't last as too little to late...
So you end of with someone with no furutre and no reson to live...
Thats a more likely sinario..
Won't happen to all the kids in the single sex school as the rebellious ones with better social instincts wont follow the rules and get in with the girls school/boys school... But the shier ones don't stand a chance.
But as for ending up gay... Bloody unlikly

No, i don't think they increase the chances of pupils becoming gay - i think you're born that way regardless of what school you go to. I do think they can make the pupils - especially girls - a bit boy-crazy though!!

I would have to say no, that is from my knowledge of being around people who have alternate life styles, Most of them say that they were born this way, or have been having feelings like that since they were children. However, being in a single sex environment may cause that person to experiment, but it doesn't make them gay. The gay women and men that I know have no interest in the opposite sex.

No. But it does make it more difficult to socialise naturally with members of the opposite sex.
I am a counsellor and frequently find that people who go to single sex schools have more problems with relationships. I am not saying this is always the case, but it is a significant factor.
I recommend mixed schools, especially for boys.

Not necessarily. But the chances for intimate same-sex encounters are naturally greater, especially in single-sex boarding schools.

No because it is inherent in you from birth whether you become you become gay or not. You have no power over how you turn out, just like whether you are stubborn or have a temper. Environment only plays a role on how you feel about your sexuality.

I dont think so. I have done studies and have taken interviews.I believe people choose to be gay. And i have seen them chose not to be gay as well. I dont believe schools make a person a gay- i think its lifes circumstances.
