it smells because you have a diet that is not good for you. if you experimented for two weeks with a diet of fruits and vegetables by the end of those two weeks your poop would not smell. your poop smells because you eat too much processed meat and/or processed foods. Try this experiment.

Have you smelt some of the food we consume? While it's cooking or even as we're putting it into our mouths some of those smells could be pretty 'cheesy' for lack of a better word.
