No England dint think that they are the greatest like Brazil but they do work hard! Why do you think they admitted they need to improve? Its not to boast is it!!

By saying Rooney's not much obviously you don't like him but you can not disagree that he is a good player and to even stay on the pitch for as long as he has still recovering with his injury is great! Think about that before you put him down. Although Yeah Beckham is overrated but has proved his worth :P

England works hard like Germany thanks very much PEACE! I mean Hargreaves carried on and still managed to defend England by kicking the ball out even though you could see he was in pain. He continued and persevered through blood and a Ref wanting him moved (lol)!

England have been lucky so far, however the better team they play the better england will play, now england is through to the final 16 the proffesionalism and skill will all come into play, i will be cheering so much when portugal get kicked out only because of there pafetic behaviour and attitude against netherlands match yesterday, but then again the ref was partly to blame to let it get like that, England and beckham are not overated at all they just need to pull there thumbs out of there bums, and get there passion back, and stop making silly mistakes, portugal are going to be in for a real shock on saturday, the only player who is lethal against england is christiano ranaldo (and he has alot of passion)

yes extremely overrated. but not only in football. for years they said henman would win wimbledon. most people knew this was a joke. they havent won anything in 40 years in football, yet every tournament they say they are the favourites. the english fans expect too much. they have a good team but they arent world cup winning material and wont be for a long time. every tournament they fail and this world cup will be no different. they arent a match for the big teams like argentina brazil and portugal. english fans kept saying germany are rubbish portugal are rubiish, but yet its these teams that are playing well. germany always come good in the big tournament, england never do, yet the arrogance of the english is sky high before the start. and now they have had an easy draw they stil lthink there going to win. if i wa an england fan i would hope tat they can scrape through, but these guys think they have already won. they are brazil, its ime they realized that.

Yes, Beckham is a good player, but there are so many others out there that don't get the exposure he does. Just take a look at all the youngest players in the world cup that are getting "player of the match", etc. There are others out there, Beckham is overrated.

They're overrrated and they overrate themselves (with typical English arrogance). That's why they play like they think they're Brazil rather than working hard like Germany. That's also why they've failed for 40 years.
