It isn't that boring -- most days -- mostly, you need to know a lot about computers and on-line databases. Libraries have changed and so much now is done on computers.

Essential:-
1. You must have the ability to provide high quality customer focused services that promote and
support clinical governance.
2. Experience of managing staff.
3. A working knowledge of the Internet, Word and Excel with the ability to touch type/type
efficiently.

If you can give bjs in the quiet room at the back you might be able to increase library utilisation.

Endless patience, being able to explain the same thing in dozens of way, don't mind bring on your feet all day, on and being able to read, write and knowing you numbers helps.
