truancy is a crime, so if you don't go to school, you can be placed in juvenile "jail" where you will get an education you didn't expect.
Running away, by itself, is not a crime, but where will you go? who will protect you? how will you feed, clothe and shelter yourself SAFELY? If your parents are truly abusive, call your local crisis clinic and ask for help. If your parents are just being strict, go with it. Unless they are unfit (druggies, abusers, etc), they will have your best interests at heart.

If you are of a legal age then no it isn't. But if you are of legal age and you committed a crime and is running away from it, then yes.

If you are a minor, yes it is a crime. If you're a minor and is emancipated then no.

If your parents send out a search, you are not tried by the court and jurisdiction of the officer for punishment, but you are tried by your parents. If your parents chooses for you to be in juvenile detention then you will go to "juvie." If you run away and isn't being searched for by your parents, but you are registered in school then you will be tried by the court system and they will send you to juvie or you will have to attend school. If your parents don't send out a search, then the court will find a fault in your parent's guardian and hand you over to the state until you are legal. There's a whole mess of mumbo jumbo's you go through if you are a minor and has run away from home.

If you are a minor, yes. Your parents, or guardians, can be held liable for your actions as a minor.

The running away part is not the big concern. The problem is how minors try to support themselves after they run away. Too often they get pulled into activities they would not want to do unless they had to to survive. (drugs, prostitution, theft, etc.)

Ending up in jail, or committing crimes, cost everyone else extra taxes or higher prices at the store.

You mean running away from home, or running away from a police officer when told to halt?

Running away from home is not a crime. Running from the police is.

Depends on your age (I believe you have to be 17 before it is no longer a crime but I'm not sure about that, it may be 18). But it is considered a crime.

It's a crime to you're family. All they do is love you and even if it's hard to see, the love is there, so why would want to? Your heart is so set on something that you are blind to anything else.
