No , by invading Iraq he made it easy s for the terrorist to gain a foothold there They have been able to get some Iraqis to join them and make them stronger . Sure we are fighting them over there . They are still killing Americans and that is what they want to do . When they turn their attention back to the US they will find many ways to come into this country and do their damage .
We had better wake up and tighten up all the loose ends .
By the way Congress did clear it for Bush to invade , but it wasn't their idea to go , Bush pushed for it and they went along , because he said it had to be done . Bush gave Congress the reason's to go , and they were all wrong !!!!!

What have we accomplished for our nation since we started the war? Although we eliminated Saddam Hussein from power, the replacement government appears to be toothless. We are getting less oil from Iraq now than we did before the war started. We are losing soldiers every day. The opinion of most of the people of the world has turned against the USA because we started this war. And the President appears to be ignorant of all principles of management: always have a vision and a plan for the future. He has no vision for Iraq, and despite pleas from many individual government leaders, appears to not only have no plan to get out of the war, but to the contrary, appears to be happy with getting out only if, as, and when circumstances change to the favor of the USA. How comfortable are you with the thought that someday things in Iraq will be peachy and our guys will be able to leave walking forwards instead of guarding their butts?

Bush did not "order" the war...he doesn't have the power. Congress voted for the War...so ask yourself this: Why would liberals in Congress send people off to war...and then stay home and consistently undermine their efforts? The answer: because they are only interested in political success...and will take it anyway they can get it. The problem is...they haven't realized they are going about it the wrong way.

No country is better off when at war. We are doing what NEEDS to be done to attempt to establish a safer world for our children. Just like the troops did in WW II. Freedom is not free. It comes at at great cost. But, try living without it. Move to any country controlled by Iotolas. Then you will understand what we stand to loose.

Seen any attacks on U.S. soil lately? We are most certainly better off and we're eliminating a lot of terrorists. Not to mention how fast Lybia changed its tune once we hit Iraq and the over 500 artillery shells found with poisonous gases, (WMD's). We need to stay the course and then take care of Iran and N. Korea.

First of all, The Army is an "all volunteer Army"
stop complaining that our young men are being killed. One joins the army for various reason but in the end it is voluntary, and one joins knowing that they are joining an ARMY not the boys scouts. this is not Russia where one has to serve.
of course we are better off

The world is better off, certainly, with fewer madmen out there. Certainly any loss of life on the part of our servicemen and women is tragic and awful... unspeakably so. But Saddam and his sons had done unspeakable things.... rape rooms and torture chambers... gassed his enemies... mass murder.
Wiping him off the Earth and establishing a free Democracy there will be worth it.
