You got that right. It's members. Not the people at large.

The GOP is the best. The liberal cowards support abortions and gay marriage. That is not what the people want. We want more Jesus and less Terrorism. The Muslim are the greatest virus on the planet. They are unholy and want Gay Marriage. I say that Nascar is in and Football is in and Soccer is out. More Freedom Fries and less French Toast. I have a shotgun on the Lay A way down at the Wal Mart. I hope I get some money so I can blow all those sissies away.

The Libertarians. I became a member for the last presidential election when I knew there had to be better options.

Go to the Issues tab and select Our Platform for info where they stand. Then try finding something on the Democrat or Republican websites that state what they stand for. You wont. They dare not put anything in writing.

As was said, they care about the members, not necessarily the best of their consituency (the people they represent). Both parties care more about advancing their agenda, keeping/getting power and getting relected.

If they truely cared about the country, they would make the hard choices about doing what has to be done. Instead they BOTH tend to make choices and comprisie based on political expediency and cater to special interests.

Cares most for its own members? I think both parties care about its own members. Your question should be which party cares more about its country? Thats why we elect them, to take care of the nation, not to take care of each other.

Your question is not important, sorry.

The republican party is looking out for the nation, while the democrat is seeking power only.

They both care for their members. Without the membership the party wouldn't exist. You can't measure this commitment.

They both care for their members. They have no problem passing legislation that benefits them, but when it comes to benefiting the people they are supposed to be representing, they could care less! They are all in it for themselves!!

Neither. Both are primarily concerned with getting people to fall in line with their agendas.
