I believe we are experiencing him through oursleves. Him being energy. An energy when embraced can be formed into anything we wish.

Meaning, we are God.

You came very close to answering your own question in the details. And I think it is close enough to understand. You see, there are things in life that we do not known or perhaps we cannot know - call them the unknown. And all the things that we know and all the things that we do not know put together we call the kingdom of God almighty, but not God himself. Because alongside all the things there is truth, love and beauty, and every things is not true, lovely or beautiful. The absolute of these things and therefore everything that in human point of view is good we invoke by the word God.

The error is in our efforts to understand God rationally as another very powerful being like for example our teacher or our parents. The fact is the He is not apart from us the way we like to see. And the way God is with us or is in our lives we do not understand merely by words.

I think if our purposes are sincere, reasonable and powerful then they are true and beautiful. Then our purposes are close to our own best - the best that there can be. And a will to fulfil these purposes might not be a will against God's will.

There never is anything done by chance in the Universe. Every thought word and deed is regulated by Universal Law. For every Cause there is an Effect! For every Effect there is a Cause! You and only you are responsible for your will and choices you make in life. The Creator is Intelligence and Power and operates through Universal Law.We can use this Intelliegence and Power with Honorable Intent. When we use it for other than Honorable Intent it just boomerangs back to us in ways we may not like! Do no harm to no none!

Well according to some religious types we are given free will, however since we are supposedly governed by the will of God then that obviously proves that we don't have free will, meaning that everything that occurs is God's will.

In short we therefore have no free will, and God is both good and evil. And can't possibly be 'experiencing himself through us' because surely he already knows everythignt hat will come to pass? If he doesn't then he cannot be seen as a devine entity, in fact if he doesn't control our futures then he has little or no pwoer at all, except that which weak minded individuals give to him (however according to them I too have am weak minded since God is obviously controlling me in such a way that I will counter your argument with my supposedly logical arguments.)

Because God is meek (to have power and/or rights, but to restraint the exercise of them for the sake of love) and He truly dignifies human choice. How would it be free will if He came and forced the issue? Yet, we therefore must live with the consequences of our choices. There are rules in place, after all. Like gravity. And justice (whether in this life, or at the resurrection).

And somehow His sovereignty is not at all threatened by our genuine free will. It's a mystery. I don't understand it.

No, wars and famines are not His will. For one to be oppressed by another is not His will. Our screwed up world is full of the consequences of evil human choices, a testimony to the way humanity has twisted the dignity given to us by God.

But in the end, God will win. Like every fairy tale, good will triumph over evil.

How? Read the Bible. (And I don't mean that to sound condescending or flippant)

This is a very good question. Thanks for asking. Got me thinking.

I am not religious and choose first to redefine what I mean by God. There is a famous saying which that God is love. This, I take as my premise since love in its purest essence is all embracing that means it is also all powerful. However, once a person ceases to act out of love but hatred then this person temporarily interupts God.

No man is as powerful as He is.No one can change or hinder his will .Man can only prolong it.Sometimes we might experience hardship, and think if that was his will for us.That is only to test our faith and endurance in Him.It is possible for human beings to take situations into their hands and find alternative solution to their problems, but when God says Yes,no man can say no.

But maybe every action we ever do is part of a bigger plan, so a man is just a pawn in a game we wont understand until our last.
