In Pele's Era, it dominated the world. Now, with countires like Italy seemingly becoming allergic to goals, the 3-4-3 is now a very attacking formation. I think if the right combination of players were used, the 4-2-4 could be succesful again. What do you think? If no, say why. If yes, tell me what team should use it.

There arent really any restrictions on individual lines. Personally, I would run a flat four, with my outsides pushing up on the wing. My midfielders would not be flat, but stacked, a defensive and attacking. Up front, I would have one on each side, one slightly behind, and one all the way up front, a sort of kite shape. My "defensive" forward and attacking midfielder could switch several times. Think it could work?
