im not american,but i just dont understand why americans are always told to be dumb people,there just cant exist a such intellegence difference between people of different countries or nations,because we are all born with same type of brains.i dont know maybe the thing is about the 'dumb' word,'ignorant' might be a better word maybe.

"Lazy" is a good word, too. Too many people in the US (not "Americans," because that includes every nation in North America) just sit in front of the TV and believe whatever it tells them, because it's just too much trouble to get up, get out, and get information from a reliable source. TV watching is a totally passive activity, and it creates passive people who will allow their government to get away with anything. People in the US like to think that they're patriotic when they claim that the US is "No. 1," but they don't really have any basis for that belief except for the Fox network. We are no longer No. 1 in science, in education, in health, in real wages and hours, in art, or in any field. We will continue to slip as long as people fail to comprehend the difference between patriotism and empty flag-waving.

America is the world's number 1 nation. We have the strongest economy, the most powerful armed forces, number 1 in almost everything. That's the reason that those from other countries like to run Americans down in every way they can.
It's like kids in a zoo. So long as they're safe on the other side of the strong iron bars, it's more fun to tease a big strong animal than a little tiny one.
Yes people's intelligence is the same throughout the world. It's the way they're brought up that counts. Too many are not able to reason things out for themselves. They're influenced by their parents, their government's propaganda, their church, their way of life, and many other things.
No, Americans are not that dumb or ignorant. If that were true, we would be some backward, third world nation picking on whichever one was in our place.

The entire world is jealous of Americans that's why we have so many conflicts. If we were such dumb people why are we the world's super power? If we are such dumb people, why do we keep having to save lesser nations from their own bulls***? I used to believe that there was no such thing as a dumb question but I am going to have to reconsider that statement now.
I am sick of these other nations dogging us out. If we are so dumb, quit begging us for money, quit trying to come over and attend our universities, quit coming over here to work our "dumb" jobs so you can send money back to your families.
Quit mocking our food, our clothes, our music, our culture.

The reason that people think americans are dumb is because the media only highlights those 'dumb" people, they dont show the world some of the amazing people we have here.

America has the worst, most ineffective, most expensive public education "system" of all industrialized countries. Don't even get me started on this one! Most kids born with a healthy brain are nearly brain-dead when the finally wake up and drop out of school. It is no wonder kids take drugs and get high so they can stand the boredom of public school!

Yeah you could say that again. We are viewed as conceited and stuck up. But there are also really nice people in that mix that are being mis-judged. Stereotypes are not a good idea.
