Basically their career is over, but they likely still have loads of money and assets as well as the money they can get from book deals and tv appearances (assuming they are not in prison). As for average people, it is tough, but there are jobs out there for convicted felons that did their time. There is even a tv show that stars a couple of former thieves (not sure if they have criminal records but they do admit to have at one time been criminals). The one guy breaks into your house and steals as much as he can. Then the homeowner gets their stuff back and a top notch security system for being on the show.

What is he going to need a job for? He's done an OJ and put millions into a house in Fla. where the gov't nor the lawsuits can touch the home. Plus he's put his wealth overseas. He'll just serve what time he gets in a federal camp and be pardoned by Dubya when the Pres leaves office since Lay was one of Bush's largest contributors and a good friend.

well first off ALL of his friends own the largest most powerful companies in the world. If you think about this its like knowing the manager at a small time job (think food lion). Really they just have to be like hey i need a job, got anything starting around $100,000,000 per second? I really need a salary like this to continue my CONSERVATIVE lifestyle. Besides anyone who reads about this kind of corporate GREED knows that screwing a company completely up and causing record losses doesn't affect their pay, in fact if your fired you get an exit package that most of us couldn't hope to earn in a lifetime. If you ask me we should bring back public execution and line up ALL coropration execs and politicans an summarily (sp?) execute them all as an example for the next SOB's.
