Toothpaste (white kind, not the gel). Sounds silly, but I use it at night and the zits go down by morning. If I get a rash of them on my face, I apply a tiny bit of cortizone and then the toothpaste over it--not only do the zits go, so does the scar! The rash you got from the medicine may have been the 'rash' that peels off the old skin so the acne-prone skin is gone. Maybe. Maybe not. But the skin peel stuff really does get rid of acne and scars and keeps it away. And this sounds obvious but don't eat greasy foods or chocolate--people say they don't give you acne, but they do me and my brother so we avoid them. Keep a log of what foods you eat and how your skin looks the next day--you may find the one(s) that are making your acne flair up. What you eat, how you wash and moisturize your face, and how much sleep you get affects acne (sleeps helps you deal with stress wihich also causes acne). But, the very best thing is to go back to the dermatologist--there are loads of medicines that will help you. Always, always ask the doctor to let you try different ones--always. Don't suffer with it.

well about 2 years ago my acne started to. at first it was only a few, and then it got majorly bad. Because I am not rich, I made up my own acne treatment plan. Each day I wash my face twice and use 2 different medicines. Heres an example:
Sunday: Exfoiliating face scrub, oxy tinted acne treatment;
soap& water, clearasil ancne gel.
Monday: Clearasil Acne wash, oxy tinted acne treatment;
Soap and water, clearisil face cleansing pads
Also every now and then I would do a face mask
And then every day I would rotate this schedule and now my face is almost all the way clear except for three pimples on my fore head!!! I suggest that you buy two different acne washes and an exfoliater, and 2-3 acne medicine treatment (like the ones at the store for like $5) oh, and using the oxy tinted acne treatment really helps because not only does it heal pimples fast, but it also helps cover it up so you don't need so much make-up
P.S. WHAT EVER YOU DO, DON'T POP PIMPLES!!!! BELIEVE ME, THAT IS WHAT MY FRIEND TOLD ME TO DO AND I HAVE SCARS ALL OVER MY FOREHEAD FROM POPPING THEM. pLEASE DON'T DO IT BECAUSE YOU WILL BE SCARRED!

Acne Associated with Dairy Intake
A new Harvard study links dairy products to adolescent acne. A group of 47,000 women from the Nurses’ Health Study was asked to provide information about several aspects of their diet during high school as well as any incidence of physician-diagnosed severe teenage acne. Researchers noted a positive association with total milk and skim milk consumption, along with instant breakfast drinks, sherbet, cottage cheese, and cream cheese. No association was found with several other foods often thought to affect acne, including soda, french fries, chocolate candy, and pizza. The scientists postulate that hormones and bioactive ingredients found in milk may be responsible.

That's tough. If your acne isn't all over your face, try using toothpaste on it. Not gel the paste works better. Put it on right before bed, each night til it's gone. Be sure to wash it off good though and put a water based lotion such as eucerin on your face in the morning. Hope it helps.

alrighty then, let me tell you
so my face has absolutely no zits and its soft.
Get Acnefree. Its cheaper than ProActive and it works for longer.
Proactiv clears you up faster, but Acnefree (along with Clearasil, used after all three steps on the zit) works miracles and PREVENTS ny stuff you dont want.
But if your like, COVERED you should pop some zits as well as using the products I recommend. All the zits with white heads that are out there-pop them. Just pop the top and squeeze as hard as possible.
Its gross but trust me you will look bettter
Good luck!
