lol last month they took all the hottest power supplys.. and ran them at 100% for 14 days. day and night.

1 caught fire!!!

2 smoked!!!!

well, as others have stated, you can get the reviews, but often much of the review is based on opinion. In other cases some of the reviewers are receiving free product in exchange for favourable reviews. In some other cases, the reviews are done with people that have about as much knowledge as 70% of the people you see providing answers here (and yes, this is a BAD thing).
The best thing really to do is decide what it is you need your system to do , and make your decisions based on that. Get reviews from your friends, neighbours, classmates/workmates etc. etc. At least then you know you are getting an honest review.
And don't be surprised if one person loves a product someone else hates. It's usually best to go to the service area of computer shops and ask the technicians what they would buy. They know what fails a lot, what is hard to configure, and what just plain outperforms the rest. Again you may get slightly differing opinions, but you will see a general trend if you go to several shops.
