1. Get the chip off of your shoulder. If your culture is so 'dominating' why hasn't it developed it's own cure for Aids as opposed to relying on the rest of the world for help?

2. You don't dominate: Football (english, american, or australian), Lacrosse, or even track for that matter (see the list of medal-winning olympians for the past ten years)

3. The reason blacks "were" discriminated against was because their culture was so primitive europeans were
able to essentially harvest them as slaves. Had the african tribes been advanced enough to defend themselves, or even smart enough to run away, the slave trade of the 16-1700's would never have happened.

4. Ever heard of affirmative action? That may be the most blatant form of discrimination ever conceived and implemented.

I actually read some research in an anthropology class as a senior in college that indicated that africans are the most evolved, in other words the farthest from primates, DNA-wise. Because some european scientists (like a hundred or two hundred years ago) were measuring forearms, they theorized that the shorter the forearm, the further a population was evolved. Turned out the africans had shorter forearms, so they abandoned their theory, but later (by 1981 when i took this class) they believed that the theory was actually right. Ha ha.

The African American race is dominate in sports primarily do to the breeding that went on during the slave era. Another possibly contributing factor is that there are people in African who run long distance in search of food and have adapted to this. People of Kenya are a prime example. On the flip side how many Black people are in and competing in the worlds strongest man. The current Mr. Olympia is black and I give him great respect due to the amount of dedication and work to get where he is at. One simply has to look at the particulars of that era to understand. Genetically, African Americans are on a peak but this will decline in time as the genes get diluted out through couplings with other races. If it had been superior brain power then we would be seeing the results of that now instead of athletics. In the early 1900's we did see the emergence of some great African Americans intellectuals and even today African Americans are making inroads into this area. The number of African Americans in this country who are entertainers and have branch out into other areas in increasing. The poverty level for African Americans has not kept pace. Opera Wimpey is the richest female in the world or at least close to it. Bill Cosby is another who has paid his due and is at the top. Many times these people are dicrimated against by there own people. Uncle Toms is a common name used for them which seems to include any well to do black individual who has obtained his dream thru hard work and brains. The number one reason African Americans are discriminated against is because they have a huge chip on there shoulders. I am Native American and I don't have this same chip, should I? Lets look at a few things. native Africans sold prisoners of war to white slavers. Then brought here and forced to work sometimes under terrible conditions, sometimes under good conditions. The fact the African American people were not free in this country during the slave era was truly a travesty. In The 20th century, given equal rights, and Government help. Standards for African Americans were lowered to qualify for jobs, and college etc. The vast majority of crime is black on black. Illegitimatacy is highest amoung African Americans. Drug use, theft, Crime in generall is hightest amoung African Americans. There are all kind of excuses, ideals, therories on this but as of right now it is a fact. African Americans scream racial profiling when statistically it is right. The rationality that the good life should be given would work in a perfect world but we do not live in a perfect world. The situation in Africa has not got much better over the last 100 yrs so people wanting so much to be African can just go home to the mother land. Most African Americans will not do this. Why won't most do this? Because as bad as African Americans think they have it, it is many times better than any other place in the world. If the mentallity of the above statement is true then how come Black athletes are paid the highest salaries. If there was true dicrimination at this level wouldn't be better to just have seperate leagues. There probably is the least dicrimination at the sports level. The same ideas apply to many races. The American Indian has tried to live in a style that is conherent with the "old ways" This has left them ingnorant and poor. Do I think they should give up the old ways, No but to incorporate them into modern times. It is our fear and ignorance that keeps people poor and the lack of motivation to keep trying. Do you think Bill Cosby's kids will be poor? They "Mr. Cosby's kids" will expect there children to do well and this eventually will and already has brought about a class of African Americans that did not exist. Hopefully the this will outpace the drug, crime class and eliminate all dicrimination. If only it was that easy!!!!!!!!!! I do not have any documents or texts to back this up and is purly my own ideas. I am sure that most of this can be looked and should be statistically close

Every race of people has its own strengths and weaknesses. Have you ever watched a strongman competition? The guys that win those things are all giant Nordic types from Scandinavia. The Japanese are really starting to take over eating competitions because their metabolisms are through the roof. If you look in the laboratories of MIT, Harvard, and other prestigious universities, you'll see mostly Asians, Indians, and Caucasians. Every race has its athletes, its artists, its scientists, and its statesmen. That doesn't make any of us better than anybody else. I'm not trying to say that discrimination is right - it absolutely isn't. What I *am* trying to say is that there isn't some sort of huge conspiracy to discriminate against one race because it is some sort of master race that everybody else is afraid of.

Absolutely everybody discriminates against people different from themselves, whether they think they do or not. It's human nature to be wary of the unfamiliar. The challenge we all face is to recognize those prejudices in ourselves and fight them, not to point fingers and blame other people for our problems.

It has been found that the first humans originated in what is now africa. As humans spread to new climates, our bodies adapted (ie lighter skin because of less sun, more fat for colder climates etc)

Africans have evolved less because there was no need for evolution. Being more or less evolved has nothing to do with physical superiority. All it effects is a populations natural ability to suvive in their current environment.

All humans belong to just one spicies - homo sapience. There are genetic differences between individuals of course, some of whic are shared by large ethnic groups, but they are comparitavely minute. So, you couldn't really say that any ethnic group is more or less evolved then the other.
