Um, you don't.

Why do you feel the need to tell your children? Why do they have to know?

You have to first stop & ask yourself: "What do my children gain from this information?"

I could understand wanting to tell them for their own good say if you had a very bad experience & want to warn them because one of your children are considering going into that business themselves.

However, just telling them for the heck of it just seems down right pointless. What do they gain from it? NOTHING. Accept that mom used to be in porn. That's it. Well, & maybe some perverse bragging rights when they're in college, LOL. But still...

Are they small children? If so, then you have some major sexual appropriateness issues you need to work on because little children don't need to be exposed to that sort of thing, none the less even have a clue that it even exists.

If they are older children, say already grown (over 18) & they are asking questions, etc, then I'd say, maybe, because honestly, why do they need to know?

There are some things from our youth or before they came along that should just remain private & where they were - in the past.

Telling them that you used to be an XXX model is as useful as telling your kids that you used to deal dope. All it does is admit something shameful that you are no longer involved in that has no baring on your close relationship w/them now. Telling them could actually do more harm than good since really, again, they gain absolutely NOTHING from this knowledge.

Good luck :)

I would base the decision on what their chances are of finding out in the future. Do you have a portfolio that you plan on keeping, something they would find after you pass away? How likely is it that they would come across it on the internet when they are old enough to understand? My guess is that it's not all that likely, I would probably keep that to myself and explain it if and when the time comes that they find out.

Confirm the story only if the child asks. Otherwise by the time you have kids and they are old enough to understand, you might have fizzled out with the modeling business.

Wow! What a dilemma. I would opt for not telling them. By the time they are old enough, your stuff would be so outdated it probably wouldn't interest them one iota. Get right with the Lord and let your new actions speak out over the old.

FIRST of all, i think you should let me see the pics....secondly, thats a tough choice, maybe not until they are older and more mature and are more capable of handling that kind of information...if they tell their friends then you'll have a bunch of 14 year old kids undressing you w/ their eyes and trying to find the pics of you on the internet

Don't volunteer any info unless you want to answer some VERY imtimate questions.... Now, on the other hand, if they find out (and they might, especially if their friends' parents are around your age or a little older than you are) then be honest, but don't give more info than they ask.

Dont tell them until they are old enough to understand what porn is all by themselves. They should be around 12-13 before i would tell them, just to avoid an embarrassing situation later in life.

I would wait until there old enough to understand and yes better to tell them then for them to find out from someone else.

you should tell your kids because you should always have an open honest relationships with your kids.cause when they do find out it's just going to be very disappointing.and you lying to them ain't good parents always won't their kids to always tell them everything about whats going on with their lifes that you don't know about so just sit your kids down and tell them everything tell them how much you care about them and you didn't won't to keep it a secret.your their mother and their going to love you know matter what you did or do in your past life.
