Absolutely! ( If you can afford it)She's probably done the same for you more than once. Mom's, above all, will appreciate your show of affection. Maybe even an, "I'm glad you're here note" would make her feel as special as she is.

I'm not sure what you mean by fav color. Are you talking about bed linens and the entire bedroom theme? If so, I would say it's not a good idea because it doesn't show your individual style or tastes. It also shows mom that you're still trying to get her approval.

However, you could put her favorite color flowers, towels, and other accents to make her feel special. This shows that you care about her, but are still a grown woman with your own home. She will think a lot more highly of you.

Yes if you do not mind I am a mom I know I would appreciate it very thoughtful and sweet let's her know you had her in mind while preparing the room fo her occupancy and it also will make her proud to have a daughter who is thoughtful really sound like a little over said but really and also if she do not mention it it is not because she did not notice it's because she might not know you changed the colors for her so make sure you let mom know so she can appreciate it and feel good about it which will follow by her graditude and compliments to you and knowing makes a difference SO MAKE SURE YOU LET HER KNOW IT IS ESPECIALLY FOR HER!

Yes you should put her favorite color in there if you have it if not just make it look nice with some nice smelling candles in her color or some pretty flowers in her color or something. just something nice to let her know you love her and were thinking of her. i know i am a mother and that would make me feel special.

don't over do the color, could be a bit overwhelming but if you put a couple of accents in the room with that color, pillows, candles, throws, etc., it would show your mom that you put an effort into making her feel welcome! hope this helped, and remember simplicity is key!

yes!!! put that color sheets!(if you put too much it will overpower the actual room.)by the way, you can put little packets of lavender in the pillows(if shes not allergic) and follow this recipoe and add it to the fresh flowers in her room:
1\2 cup non-dietary soda(clear)(carbonated)
small splash bleach
mix and add to the flowers water. this will keep them alive super-long!!!

That's a lovely idea........you don't have to re-paint the whole room.....just a few touches of 'her' color here and there will make her feel welcome and let her know that you are a very considerate person.

Why? Are you sucking up? It's your home, decorate it to please yourself not anyone else. If your mother cared about you, she'd understand that you have your own sense of style and favorite colors. She'd never expect this of you.
