They are for real.

Thanks to Kenny Rodgers, he has taken that whole staff under his wings.

Even IF The Tigers "fall apart" in the 2nd half they still win 95 games and possibly take the wild card.

Okay, LISTEN UP...

here's a little lesson for all you non believers out there...

The Tigers are at 52-25....no other team in MLB has 50 wins (Chicago WS have 49).

If they play .500 ball the rest of the way they win 95 games.

When Maroth gets back form the DL, he will continue to be lights out.

Look at Verlander....9-4 as a rookie!

He has been clocked at 101!

Joel Zumaya has been clocked at 102!

Bonderman has a wicked slider, and he'll fool ya.

Rodgers is absolutely incredible! Have you seen any of those plays he makes coming off the mound! He alwasy dives for the ball, and the batter doesnt stand a chance if he hits it back to the mound.

Zach Miner has filled in nicely for Maroth.

The difference this year with The Tigers pitching staff is simple:

The coaching staff.

And they will remain that wayy ALL season.

I thought the Tigers were just joking for a while now,
but its almost the allstar break and they still don't want to give in to the sox.

So i've come to the conclusion that they are for real and they will be good all season. But they won't finish in first. The sox will just have to implement plan "B".

This plan is also known as: "the plan we used to knock the indians out of first at the last minute plan."

But the Tigers have to be really good for the sox to use that plan. We only save it for the best.

The Tiger pitching will drop off the second half of the season like the Nationals did last year.

I don't follow the Tigers, but they seem contenders to me.

Tell you what, this certainly makes things interesting in the A.L. East...
