Too much rain? No, just too much in one dousing. Torrential rains pelted my newly transplanted herbs! They'll be back though. And the ground wasn't baked dry and hard, so the rain didn't run right off and flood. It'll just soak it up and store it away. :) And rain can never really ruin my plans...I just go out and play in the puddles! :D
