Tell her that she's better than that. She might not listen, but at least she knows how you feel. Don't pretend that you like him for her sake, be honest. Oh and when it all finally blows up, resist the urge to say I told you so.

I would leave it alone unless, and until she came to me for advice. However, I would be sure she was looking for advice and not just a listening ear. Often our friends need a safe harbor to bounce feelings and emotions off of so they can come to their own conclusions regarding life issues. If we jump in with unsolicited advice, they will resent it, and we could be interfering in their growth process. If she were not actually ask my opinion, by saying something like "Serenity, what do you think of him?" I would tell her. But, I would need to be sure she was ready to hear a negative remark about him, as she may not be there yet, and only be wanting to hear how wonderful he is. I would not lie, I would hedge a lot, and avoid, but I would not tell an outright lie. It she pressed me I would be a bit vague, like saying, "Well, Kimberly, I really don't know him very well, you seem to be happy with him and if you are happy then I am happy for you.". Things we may find irritating may not irritate her at all, in fact she may find those things we find irritating endearing, as she is the one in love with him, not us. Often those in love will find the weirdest things endearing. lol So, just be really careful and do not jump on the band wagon of dissing him. You could lose a friend.

Been there and there is nothing you can do. They will not believe you anyway and side with the jerk. It will just have to run its course, see your friend when jerk face isn't around

All you can do is be there for her. If you tell her the guy is a jerk, you'll lose her. If she confides something in you that he's done, you could say, "You deserve to be treated a lot better than that!" rather than "He's such a jerk!"

This is a lose, lose situation for you. If you say anything to her, she will get piss-ed off. If she doesn't get t'd off and she and the bf work it out, they will both be piss-ed off with you. If she asks for your advice, then give it freely with a kind heart. MYOB....mind your own business and let her learn from this experience. Just listen...be there for her. That's what friends are for.
