Depends how long you have been together and how much you are planning to spend. I would go for a romantic approach - something that shows that you have put thought into it....as opposed to using Yahoo Answers (!!)
Make her a candle lit suprise dinner, take her to her fav. restaurant, or somewhere that she has mentioned that she would like to go. Do something spontanious, like get in the car and go to the coast (don't know where you live) without telling her. Or if you are feeling brave, make her up a "Box of Goodies" filled with new CDs that she has said she wants, makeup, pamper products - go to somewhere like Lush, Chick Flicks, sexy underwear etc... A hot air balloon ride with champagne, eerrrrrrr, organise a suprise get together in your local with all of her mates there.
Please say that you can find something out of this lot....please !!

How about a little hamper filled with 25 of her favourite things, like her fave perfume, lippy, underwear set, cinema tickets, her fave chick flick, voucher for a massage, pair or earrings, booking for a spa day n how bout tickets to paris or summat?
If you're able to, how about secretly speaking to her boss and cancelling anything she may have organised, tell her you're taking her on an overnight stay (but be mysterious as to where it is) and make sure she brings plenty of clothes, get her passport, drive her to the airport and whisk her away somewhere. Have a mate dress up as a dragon and 'kidnap her' from work.
You turn up dressed as a knight in shining armour, slay the dragon in a staged fight, then lift her onto a horse and ride off to a hotel in a castle..
Would require lots of money and time spent learning and practicing...
(plus a safety hat desguised)
Should make the papers...
Either she will be besotted with you or want to kill you for the embarrasment
Whats your budget for something more realistic?
Perhaps a naughty weekend away

Women LOVE jewelry! If you really love her and want to make it a special day why not give her a diamond ring and propose. How romantic is that. If not diamond earrings, necklace or any other kind of ring would be sweet. You can never go wrong with jewelry.

im 18 so im the expert. an ipod, a git certificate for victoria's secret, a digi cam, a gift certificate for a salon or beauty supply store, ummmm a trip to an amusement park with an overnight at a hotel, etc.

Don't know how much money you have or plan on spending but It would be nice to ahve a surprise dinner at her favorite restaurant...She would be impressed if you invited her closest friends (even if you don't like them) and family - Good luck
