It does get more complicated because you are going through physical and emotional changes. You are just beginning to face the world and also you are less experienced. That is teenage life. 13 or more complicated than 12. And 14 and 15 will become more complicated.

At about your age my friends all started drinking and drugging - I did not. It was a terribly lonely and depressing experience, but one for which I turned out for the better. I hope that you are strong willed enough to resist the temptation to fit in because it gets very strong the lonlier you get. Be an individual and surround yourself with strong willed people and you will never regret a day of your life. It is always when following the crowd into mischief that one loses their self-esteem. Once lost, it is a very difficult thing to regain. Good Luck!

You are not an adult yet, but starting to handle adult issues and problems. It's hard - lean on older people to help you through.

In my experience, your own life gets harder and harder until your 20's. Then you're pretty good at the daily "living on your own", paying the bills, working, etc. Then you may have children of your own, and that becomes the new challenge.

People I know in their 40's and 50's and 60's are the most likely to be at peace with their lives. They have taken 20 years or more building a good life, and are enjoying it. They are good at their jobs, proud of their children, and still have good health and vitality.

look at it this way, in the last 150 years, it's gotten alot easier!
in ages long past, at 12 & 13 girls were getting married off to 30+ year old men and guys were running the house if the father had dies (which was common). so comparitively, you have it easy.

Yes. Just wait until your my age. Oh how you will long for the days when you had so little to worry about. Just relax and enjoy being a teenager while it lasts.

Yes it does. You really need solid guidance. A strong true Christian leader would help. This is the time that you really need to work in tandem with your parents.

Best to you.
