Show the amount of sugar in common items. Have 6 or 7 glasses, find out how many teaspoons or tablespoons of sugar is in a 12-oz pop. or a Twinkie, a bowl of Cap'n Crunch, a Hershey bar, things like that. Then put that much sugar inside
the glass and display the item with it. For example, have a candy bar in front of a glass full of however many tablespoons of sugar it represents. Maybe display a short text of the effects of sugar on our bodies -- weight, teeth, health problems.
And good luck.

work with small animals like insects, theyre easy to find and durable, and you dont need too much expensive equipment to handle them, you may even have live specimins to present. perhaps you could try to find a pest deterrent safe for the pest?
