I'm an up and coming writer/director/actor, and I'm stumped on where to go with the latest piece I'm writing.

Well, one is that this dude fell in love with this one guy and never able to tell him untill years later, but then it was to late because the guy he fell in love with is dying of some type of illnes.
Something sad in the beggining and happy in the end sounds good.

I think you have a good idea. There is obviously a big audience for movies with gay characters, as shown by the success of Brokeback Mountain plus the growing presence of gay characters on TV. But one thing I should say, is I don't think you should just set out to do a "gay movie." I'm not even sure what that is lol. Find something you like to do, something you're interested in. If it's a movie about a police officer for instance (just pulled that out of the air), you could go about making the police officer gay and such and trying to gain respect in the force despite being gay. The important thing is you do something you like and something you're interested in, and then the gay angle will come into play. Hope this helps.

I just wrote a script about such a topic. It's about a teen who is shopped to a private school because his mother wants to get him away from his gay Friend. While there, he discovers his own homosexuality and builds a relation shop with is roommate. The plot follows the hardships and trials of being gay in an all boy endearment. He finally builds acceptance from the school, only to learn about his mothers refusal to accept and commits suicide due to the distress that his mother can't accept him.

I think a good plot would be maybe a suspense thriller like a good detective story where the detective is investigating a murder and along the way he falls for a hunky guy who turns out to be the killer. Leaving the detective to chose whether to continue loving the killer or to turn him in.

Write a good g0y movie, I think that with the proper script this growing segment of the population would be a prime subject of a new movie. Check out our main website to see what we are about.

I'd do something for the group...I don't know what they're called, but they believe changing their orientation is possible. I'd give them some air time, to make sure they get equal coverage.

just have it be a mass murder case that the detective that is trying to solve the case realizes that he may be gay and the stalker may be after him next
