been married for 15 years and have found myself lacking terribly in the relationship. I have met someone who feels all the voids, but how can I tell if it is true love or just lust. I want it to last forever, if there is such a thing.

Spend time away from both men/women and see how you feel about both. You might spend most of your time thinking about the new one, but it's probably just because of the excitement of a new relationship. You made a promise to your spouse for it to last forever. What happened to that? It's probably worth fixing the lacking feeling, you might be surprised how in love you still are with your spouse and what a great time you two have together. But, you'll never rediscover that if you have one foot out the door.

When I separate the person from who they are, i.e. a body part, that person has an incredible bottom, or they are hot, I am separating the person from who they are to how they appear/look. I am also idealizing who they are based on the objectification of their body, i.e., because that person is hot, I would like to get to know them, or somehow they are appealing emotionally mentally because they are hot. As I am objectifying, lust shows itself in fantasy. What would I like, what would I like to do with and to them. So I would say when the idealized picture of this person is replaced with reality, IE., who they really are. You can accept and be willing to see past faults, issues, problems because Love carries no jealousy, love doesn't judge, love don't do anything for self gratitude, love gives unconditionally, love is trust, love is respect, love is truth!

picture yourself in a realationship with him years down the road, find out for yourself what he's like (after all he is flirting (i assume only) with a married woman). Unavailable men know how to make themselves unavailable, and conversely certain men know how to charm a lady. you are married and he doesn't see that as a threat.. think about how loyal he'd be.
