It's in what was formerly known as Yugoslavia, matter of fact, I've been to Belgrade. Long time ago though. Is it Serbia or Montenegro now? Beautiful countryside there. I loved it and the people were extremely friendly. Good food too.
I'm in Evansville, INdiana, USA, but I am originally from Frankfurt Germany.

беогÑад (Belgrade) is the capital of Serbia and Montenegro (possibly soon to be just Serbia depending on how the polls in Montenegro go). It's pretty much right in the centre of the country (a little to the NW in fact). I think it means "white city" in Serbian.
I'm from NSW/Sydney, almost as far away from there as you can possibly get.
