Maybe the answer to your question is that all the honest people who would do a very good job don't have the funds to run for any political office.
The ones with the money have more then likely bought their way up the political ladder and with so much money to back them they also can't be trusted but are still in office.
If and when you ever do find this person that you are looking for please let me know so I can join in on trying to get him/her elected, okay.
Personally this task may take you into the 22nd century and beyond but good luck in your search anyway.

Because politics is like muddy water, everyone goes into it thinking that they can change it back to clear water. But in the end, they're they ones that end up getting dirty and muddy.

Also politicians are humans. We're all human. We cannot judge someone if we ourselves could not pass the same sort judgement. Haven't we all made mistakes in our past, and we're lucky b/c no one is dredging them out for public scrutiny. Granted some of the mistakes are the direct work of greed and corruption... but that's pollitics... Muddy Water...

You need to take a closer look at Hillary Clinton, it was her husband that was involved in the scandal not her, do not believe everything that you read here as there is much hate for her based on lies, half truths and inuendo's. She would be my choice if she choses to run as she is a strong, intelligent woman that is not afraid to stand up for what is right. I do not agree with her stand on the war but, I find that I do not agree with everything that any cadidate stands for.

My choice would be Diane Feinstein, US Senator from California. She has a proven track record as mayor of a large city and as a senator. She is NOT radical, and although she is a Democrat, I, as a Republican, feel very comfortable with her. She is honest and would give great leadership to this country. Unlike Hillary Clinton, she would bring us together, not divide us.

I hope you agree.

I am planning to run for public office in the Philippines. I am honest and capable. On two occasions, I thumb down bribes of a car and 1.5 million pesos and I am proud I refused the trend in the Philippines.

Because anyone who has a clean record, will be dragged through the mud along with their families and extended families as well. It's a tough thing to go through.

If you don't take bribes, the big money won't back you.
