A reference source is the place of origin for any data, facts, graphs anecdotes, even pictures, etc. etc. that you use for various purposes. For example your new book, or high school term paper.
They can betaken from books, newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias diaries, old correspondence, committee reports. corporatation annual reports, eyewitness transcripts, court documents, unpublished manuscripts, etc. etc.

A refference sourse is just listing where and how you got your information. Like did you get it from a book or maybe an internet site.. the list goes on and on. Basicly just tell where you got the info from.
