I buy stuff that I don't need to really touch or feel to know I'm getting the right one. Things like books or DVDs are great to get cheap on Ebay. I've also sold some baby monitors that I had extra.

I did. I bought a high-end video card for my computer from a store selling on eBay. Sadly, the duty taxes were insane, and the card was faulty. When I tried to return the card to the store I bought it from, they refused to take it, citing "bought as is" when the selling page clearly stated "in perfect working order". I reported them to eBay, got nothing resolved, and still have the faulty video card.
Last purchase I ever made on eBay.

I love Ebay! I have bought a dell notebook, kids clothes, handbags, beauty products, etc. I've got tons of great deals on ebay and never had any problems.

its been pretty positive....you have to be careful. I don't really trust to buy big ticket items from ebay, but i have and its worked out fine

Amazingly...even though I am a computer geek I have still not purchased anything from ebay...As much as I would love to trust other people...I simply cannot...Oh well....
