Why do most who ask this question assume that the theory is "We came from monkeys"? The theory is that humans and monkeys have a common ancestor. We branched off one way and the primates another. This does not down play the awesomeness of the Creator. (Maybe this should have been in the Religion & Spirituality section.) The Almighty is quite capable of seeding this planet with life, building blocks and all; He knew what would evolve.

You do realize how ignorant you sound when you say liberals think that. No person who knows anything about evolution says we came from monkeys, but that we came from a common ancestor. I know you think it's the same thing....but guess what....it's not.
Try reading something about evolution that didn't come from a church brochure and maybe you won't sound so incredibly stupid.

It is not "liberals" but educated people who recognize evolution as the process by which humans developed over millions and millions of years.
The only people who believe otherwise are either ignorant, stupid, or mentally ill.
