Only JK Rowling knows. And ignore the first posting person. JK Rowling has said many times she only plans the series to be 7 books long. Now might she consider writing more afterwards? Yes, but I don't think so. I think she likes the characters and she doesn't want to have them become worn out and the story getting all crazy.

Apparently there R. J. Rowling was interviewed today and has hinted that Harry Potter well die in the seventh book. The series of Harry Potter novels were only suppose to be seven books long. She has hinted that someone will get a second chance and another character will die in the seventh book too.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did. Daniel Radcliffe has mentioned that he would like to see Harry die in the last book, and I think JK Rowling just might end it that way. Personally I wouldn't like to see him die. I think ending the series with Harry as one of the greatest wizards ever would be better than him dying.

I think Harry will end up being the last Horcrufix and he will either lose his super powers or he will have to die in order to defeat Voldemort.
