Save your money up and pay with cash.

Your best bet is to SAVE. Place what you would pay as a weekly payment aside until you have enough money.

Then start shopping. All revolving credit costs money (interest). The worse your credit is, the more you will pay. You will be able to find a better laptop, cheaper with cash.

Gateway Computers has a special department for people who have very low FICOs. Go to the Gateway site and apply as you normally would. Make sure you enter all accurate information. If you don't automatically qualify for a loan, they will turn your name over to the other company. You'll still get a choice of laptops, they may not meet your exact specifications, however they are still Gateways and run excellent. Expect your payment to be slightly higher than usual because of the interest rate. They may require a deposit before sending your laptop.
