every year its the same story of waiting for them covers to come off so we can enjoy a bit of tennis. why not pick the right season when the weather is great?

i don't think i asked a wrong question. mr eaerth somthing**** well i love wimbledon but i hate being interupted by the rain especially if it's someone i really like playing.

Wimbledon, England is always rainy....there wouldn't be the perfect season to host the tourny....plus there are other tournaments going on all year round so they'd be stepping on toes if they held one at the same time >.<

**Plus if they held it any other time than summer, the players would be frozen and there'd be snow instead of rain which would be worse! =P

Today is actually the first day of rain in the Wimbledon area after a few weeks of drought. Ironic, isn't it?

Your question its the wrong way round, you should be asking "why does it always rain when they play Wimbledon?"

because it is very difficult to find a time when it doesn't rain. August might be drier but probably not.
