its not news.
it is entertainment.
it is easier to convince people of your side when you limit debate, information and interpret the world to fit a particular world view.
on the left but especially on the right are guilty.
Thats why you hear something and you check out the facts. in the end you are not a silent partner but should be a active member in debate and discourse. like yahoo answers...even.

They are not newscasters, what they do is look at the news and put their opinions on it....
The difference between Lets say Dan rather- He is suppose to look at the FACTS of a story and report the FACTS of the story...
and let;s say Sean Hannity - he looks at the facts of a story that a report gives, and gives his opion on it... do you see the difference...
Let;s look at it from a sports perspective...
The beat writer writes that the pitcher gave up 7 runs in the 1st inning...
The sports talk host on the radio says the pitcher sucked...

Many reporters are having trouble distinguishing personal opinions from fact. Especially when it comes to politics. Everyone has their own view, and they want the rest of the world to share it.

You must listen to Air America a lot. The patriot always has facts to back up what they say. Air America has to lie about everything, they have a hateful anti american agenda that they cannot support with facts!!

They are entertainers and telling the people that follow them or tune in what they want to hear. It serves no other purpose then that. I know people that listen to Rush Limbaugh every day to disagree with what he has to say.
