What a shame, 'cos the Aussies were dominating the game, and it came down to a dodgy decision regarding the penalty. The Italians will most probably be eliminated from the tournament in their next game based on their performance today. They were just lucky and the Aussies deserved to make it to the quarterfinals. Give it to the Italian soccer team though. They're very good actors.
Oh well, next time we'll make it to the quarterfinals and maybe beyond.
Overall, a very exciting game.
p.s. FIFA needs higher quality referees or something, 'cos there have been a number of dodgy refereeing decisions during this world cup. Maybe a comprehensive eye test for all participating referees?
