A non-serious question was asked"Do you think the New York Times is helping Al-Qaida?" And the nationalistic belligerent right-wing wackos started coming out of the wood work.Yee-haw! What the hell do you have to actually DO to a person to get him into a state where he would give such a stupid question such a serious answer?
Scary that anybody that backwards still exists.

You have to get the person to state where he/she would be willing to take an objective look at a situation rather than quickly writing it off as foolish. Sure maybe the New York Times doesn't assist Al-Qaida in the least but at least someone is looking out for the safety of this country. No one bothers to consider that the massive amounts information recovered by the New York Times and projected by mass media might actually assist Al-Qaida.

Any information on how a criminal is being tracked, that is released helps, the enemy.

Ex. There was a serial killer known as the Night Stalker. He terrorized California for a period in the eighties. The LAPD had information on him that they were using to track him. When he struck in San Fransisco the LAPD shared their information with the SFPD. The information was meant for police eyes only. However the SF mayor held a press conference and released all of the information that the LAPD had built up. Once the information was released the Night Stalker began to change up what he did and it made it harder to follow him. Setting back the investigation that the LAPD had been working on.

What the NY Times did was the same thing the San Fransisco mayor did during the Night Stalker investigation. And yes it does help the enemy.

What is scary is the fact you can't see it. Thank God you aren't in a high ranking government position.

What is scary is that this Leftist wacko crap didn't die with the failed hippy movement. What is even sacrier is that you can't see that leaking sensitive information to the press is dangerous. I can't immigane why this is not disturbing to anyone this helps the enemy.
