The Second Amendment to the Constitution will never be repealed, but, hypothetically speaking, yes, I will be an outlaw! And I won't be alone.
This is a timely question. Try this for starters:
U.N. GUN GRAB: IT'S BACK!
While Americans are celebrating Independence Day, bequeathed to them by the armed “embattled farmers” of our founding era, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and company will be plotting how to disarm Americans under the specious pretext of “international law.”
“We must not relax our efforts to combat the scourge of illicit small arms and light weapons, which continue to kill, maim and displace scores of thousands of innocent people every year,” declares Annan, July 11,2005.
That declaration is now emblazoned like holy writ across the opening Web page of the UN’s 2006 Small Arms Review Conference, scheduled for June 26-July 7 at the UN headquarters in New York City.

I think the reason people use a gun should be left up to them. I own a 9mm hand gun. It only comes out a couple times a year at the shooting range and trips to remote places. If I ever came in contact with a pack of wolves or grisly bear I dont think I'll rely on my hand to hand combat skills.
Outlawing the mode to shoot someone does not prevent the mean. There are bad people out there and they currently use guns to hurt others. But this simply is masking a problem.
With acidents by children with guns, i can understand outlawing them. If parents dont controll their guns and kids the community will.

I think people who use guns are whimps.
I think it's more skillfull to use hand to hand combat or other wepons like swords that require skill to fight. So I will not be an outlaw unless they outlaw that stuff TOO lol.
IT takes NO skill to shot and aim right... why do I know, I wear glasses and when my grandpa took me out to learn how to shoot I wasn't wearing them and I still DID better then my DAD (at his age) which to me was SAD, I got every can LOL and it took very little effort or skill for that matter with a bulky big shot gun. TOO easy, they're for whimps... a person who has mastered the art of fighting can beat a gun slinger any day ;-) I'd bet money on that LOL. B/c they relly too much on their second D*ck to do the work for them LOL. (sorry I just HAD to joke on that, I am so sorry, but it was SO funny)
"all_this_yella" You GO Grl!!! I totally agree.
P.S. Do I believe that people shouldn't have guns? No. I think whatever they feel like, but don't cry when you realize it was false protection, or an accedent waiting to happen. Just b/c you have a gun to protect yourself doesn't mean you'll come out unharmed or alive for that matter. I'm supposedly lefter then librals and I don't want to outlaw guns... what yall think about that... I just call the people who use them ALL whimps.

That's why countries don't invade the United States, b/c every hillbilly has a gun and knows how to use it. Guns won't be outlawed b/c it would never pass through Congress.

if guns are outlawed... than only the criminals will have them... does that sound safer than every one having some kind of firearm to protect themselves with... and even if they did outlaw them... its not to hard to make a "gun" that can shoot a relativaly deadly projectile... a simple search on the net for "spud guns" will give anyone the step by step process to making one... and a "spud gun" can be used for harm in the wrong hands...

Yes. It is impossible to prohibit all guns without re-writing the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights is in place to protect the masses from a "destructive" government. If the government were to try to destroy the principle freedoms our country was founded on:
"when a long train of abuses and usurpation's, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. "
Armed insurrection...

Unfortunately, if it got so bad to the point where I would have to protect myself with a gun, outlawed or not, they can't outlaw my right to protect myself.....

I will stand on my Constitutional rights, no matter who tries to take them away from me ... you DO know, don't you, that the UN is convening in New York on 4th July of all days to try and enforce, again, a ban on ALL hand guns worldwide ... heaven help us if Hilary ever became President, because she would make sure the UN laws were enforced ... :(

Yes because it is my 2nd amendmant right to own a gun. As is the reason to own a gun. To fight a government which oversteps it's bounds and violates the Constitution of the USA.
