Did they tell you any stories?

Absolutely! My great-grandpa's uncles took cattle up one of the cattle trails. He wanted to go too, but they said to wait until he was older. By the time he was old enough, they had quit doing that. His uncles taught him to cowboy, though. My dad told me one time he had seen his grandpa four foot a horse from the ground, and did it alot. Then he taught my grandma because her brother wasn't interested and later my grandpa (after he married grandma). They both taught my dad, who taught us kids (my brothers more than me). I married a cowboy who says he learned alot from my dad and grandpa. My nephew is a cowboy and there are lots of little ones in the family who will learn as soon as they are old enough. My grandpa had all kinds of stories to tell as does my dad. Check out "Cowboy" magazine. It is full of stories like I think you're wanting to hear. Bet you got one in your background too, don't ya?
