If you're having a recurring dream, generally the subject matter is related to something that has been on your mind frequently as of late. Is there something that you're worried about? Or a big decision that you have to make? Obviously, if you know it is recurring, then you most likely know the content (or at least a gist of the content) of your dream. Examine the parts that you do know, and see if they relate somehow to something in your life. The easiest way to make that dream go away is to resolve whatever in your life is making you stress out or worry.
Another thing...is this a good dream or a bad dream? If it is a good dream, it could be that your unconscious self likes it so much that it returns to the same subject matter. Try focusing on one specific pleasant image right before you go to bed, clearing your mind of all else, and see what happens.
And you thought it was going to be some cryptic answer....

Its ok to dream. Being able to dream shows that you are an interesting type of person. People who dont dream are more simpletons and take life aimlessly without much fuss and imagination. A survey said that people who dont dream are not as prosperous as people who do.What about you, are you simple-minded, or do you think and worry alot that make you dream so much? Dont worry, its healthy to your brain if you dream, but if your dreams are nightmarish, then its no good...because it relates to something bad that had happened to you or it could be a premonition of something bad going to happen. If you dont like to dream so much, say prayers for peace before you sleep, then you will dream less. It works on me.

Maybe u've got a lot of unfulfilled desires or things which you have not expressed. There might lot of things buried inside you which are stored in your unconscious mind and those things are let out in your dreams.

If you are female and pregnant, that would cause it. Do you smoke? Nicotene interrupts sleep patters. Do you exercise? You will sleep better with fewer interruptions if you do.
I dream most when I am not sleeping well.

it depends on the dream like if u are doing somthing why dont you try to do wut u dreamed. If its about a girl mayb u like her or if its a nightmare it is mayb ur consience so confess if u did somthing wrong. But dont worry and go through life forgetting about it.
