swallow your pride and admit you were wrong and leave it at that give them time to think how much guts it took for you to do that and if the friendship was worth anything to them they'll be in touch thats all you can do ..

Communicate. The best of friends can get through anything with communication. If you can't work it out, at least you've done your part to come to terms with what you feel you have done....the rest is up to the other parties involved.

Trust is something hard to gain but very easy to lose.

Begin by apologizing. Then it's make up time. You have to rebuild that trust. Hopefully whatever occured was not at the level of disasterous.

My friends and family are funny that way - we'd rather forget that the incident ever happened, than apologize. I know this is not the right way - it will come back, at some point.

You have to rebuild their trust in you again. Once thats broken in any relationship its often hard to build back what you once had. But you can build back a stronger and better relationship provided YOU are willing to work at it. Its going to take time, heartache and patience. Hang in there.

I agree with April.
You have to sincerely apologize & make good on your promises to the people in your life.

If you are truly friends & you love each other, you can recover from this.

talk to the friend, OWN WHAT YOU DID. Apoligize, but do not make excuses.

If you did "ruin" it, then you can't fix it. Duh! If it's fixable, then you didn't "ruin" it!
