Hi: I like the Monistat brand. I tried the one day treatment and my yeast infection came right back, so I use the three day treatment. Your physician also can prescribe the Diflucan, which is a pill that you can take, but it did not work for me. I hate those things they are so uncomfortable. Good luck!!!

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

i have a friend who has had problems with CHRONIC yeast infections due to a yeast build up in her body. drugstore stuff will clear you up for a bit, but it doesn't get at the root of the problem.
she tried everything! body cleanses, a few things that you insert up there (pills, creams), everything- and she finally went on a homeopathic remedy that worked for her. she was sooo happy. go to a big, GOOD health supermarket and keep asking ppl until they help you find this homepathic stuff. it really worked.

Take acidolphilis pills. If too severe, monastat works...Three day treatment is best. If this is from antibiotics, start taking the acidolphilis pills the day you start the antibiotics. Works for me and is natural. It is what is in yogurt.
