I have posted a previous question about not being able to conceive due to very irregular periods and lack of for a couple of years. I have had some funny symptoms for the last week or so, strange dizzy spells, lasting about 30-40 seconds (had 6 or 7) and in the last week a strange throbbing feeling not really painful just odd in the bottom of my stomach, also had back pain a couple of days, almost like mild period pain. Although I very rarely have periods I do get them occasionally and am wondering if I may have had one and got pregnant, is this very likely?

I am wondering if the throbbing is just psychological as I have been thinking so much about wanting to get pregnant. Could this happen?

I do feel strange down there, I cant really explain it, I had sex last night and it just felt really uncomfortable but I dont know why. It felt really wrong, I've never felt that way whilst having sex before.

My Dr is aware of the lack of periods, I have a gynae appointment in august.
Although my periods are so irregular I have ovulated on some of them as it was tested as the time. I recently had a lot of different bloods done and no inbalances were found which is why I am now reffered to gynae at hospital.

Had test and no I'm not pregnant. :(
Dr said it could be that I'm ovulating.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

don't worry honey......as for all these other answers you can get pregnant...cause you can, unless you have had blood tests to prove you are not ovulating. i havnt had a period for 8 months and im still ovulating. so you could be pregnant, do a test or go to the doctors. If not, then it could be signs of getting your period. and there is also such a thing to have a phantom pregnancy. But get it checked out by a doctor anyways to be certain. i'm also trying for a baby, so good luck honey!!!

since you stated you rarely get your period. you arent ovulating. you cant get pregnant. see your doctor and tell them all thats going on. most importantly make sure you tell them you dont have your period very often. you need to get on the pill for like a year to get regulated. then go off it and try to get pregnant. its very dangerous to not have your period. see your doctor soon. you could have a serious medical problem.
